A Quantitative Analysis of Integrated Emergency Posts

As a solution to overcrowding, emergency departments (ED) in the Netherlands start collaborate with general practitioner cooperatives (GPC) so-called integrated posts (IEP) make sure that self-referring patients receive right treatment by care provider. The underlying assumption is this collaboration will increase effectiveness of and efficiency.
